This purple lepidolite mica from Brazil has a translucent muscovite mica phantom "window".

Purple lepidolite is a pink to purple silicate of the mica group of minerals. From the Greek word, lepidos, meaning scale which alludes to the scaly appearance usually common to the mineral.

Micas which are sheet silicates that form in distinct layers are fairly light and relatively soft. The sheets and flakes of mica are flexible and produce a somewhat reflective appearance.
