The name of these small quartz crystals is derived from their origin in Pakistan and their similarity to Herkimer Diamonds. They are actually small quartz crystals which have been formed by the slow cooling of lava. They are always double pointed and often have a central connection point which was an attachment to another crystal. They may contain inclusions of carbon and petroleum oil which causes them to fluoresce purple under ultra-violet light.
These high vibrational crystals are used to clear the mind of chatter and clutter, as well as helping with knowledge and learning. They are often used to clear the chakras and are said to boost healing.
