Massage Stone Therapy Set - Cold Stone Marble

Cold stone therapy is a powerful decongestant, pushing fluid and wastes out of overworked, chronically tense, or inflamed tissues. In cooperation with heated stones, chilled marble stones create a dramatic movement of fluids within the body. Cold offers a challenge to the body, so it is strengthening to the immune system.

Place marble stones in the freezer, wrapped in paper, for 20 minutes, or until chilled. They can be rubbed against the face for a surface massage, or placed on top of a sheet along the body for full body massage. Massage with hot and cold stones for optimal results.

Marble is a rock resulting from metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, most commonly limestone or dolomite rock. Metamorphism causes variable recrystallization of the original carbonate mineral grains. The resulting marble rock is typically composed of an interlocking mosaic of carbonate crystals.
