Origin Notes
A collection of five synthetic trilobite fossils from Morocco are arranged on a stone plate. Each one is unique in arrangement, size and shape of fossils. These plaques make exciting and fascinating home display pieces. Note that this piece is a reproduction, not real fossils.
Trilobites, which are an extinct form of marine life, lived 520 million years ago in approximately the mid Cambrian period. These many legged arthropods with body armour roamed the sandy bottoms of the seas and coral reefs in search of food for over 270 million years before becoming extinct. They were one of the earliest invertebrates on Earth.
