Green apophylite is a potassium-calcium fluoride-silicate mineral. The name apophyllite is derived from a Greek word meaning it flakes off.

As a healing stone it is used for meditation, dream recall, and clairvoyance. It is said to enhance mental clarity and assist in higher self/angelic contact.
