Faceted Pendulum - Hematite

Hematite is polished oxide of iron and is heavily distributed in rocks and soils. Hematite usually precipitates out of water and collects in layers at the bottom of standing waters. Usually when it occurs in the absence of water it is the result of volcanic activity.

This grounding stone is said to have a positive effect on the bloodstream and increase resistance to stress. Egyptians used it to calm hysteria and anxiety. As a stone of Uranus, it is used to promote invention, direction and grounding.

Beautiful and useful too! Pendulums are used much the same way as applied kinesiology or muscle testing to help determine the answer to a question.


Pendulum chain may not be shown in photo. All pendulums include a nickel-free metal alloy chain and a handle. Generally, pendulums from Brazil have a loop handle and pendulums from other origins have a gemstone bead handle.
