Faceted Pendulum - Garnet

Garnet is a family of silicate of magnesium, iron and aluminum. The name originates from the stone’s resemblance to red pomegranate seeds (malum granatum). Due to its hardness, garnet is used largely in abrasives. As a healing stone garnet is known as the stone for a successful business. It is also popular for improving self-esteem and eliminating depression, garnets are thought to promote lasting relationships. When given as a gift, the garnet is said to grant loyalty and affection. If wearing a garnet though, beware if the stone loses its luster, this is a sign of approaching danger or disaster. A stolen garnet is said to bring bad luck to the thief until it is returned to the rightful owner.
