Quartz is one of the most well-known and abundant minerals on earth. It occurs basically in all mineral environments and is an important constituent of many other minerals. Even though quartz makes up a third of the earth's crust, there are only ten regions where top quality crystals justify extraction. In antiquity it was thought to be solidified light.

As a healing mineral it is known as the master stone. It has special characteristics of storing (programming), amplifying and transmitting thoughts and energy. Quartz activates the pineal and pituitary glands. It is excellent for meditation and accessing the higher self and guides.
